The Art of Movement.
The Joy of Dance.
Kansas Ballet Academy is committed to providing the highest quality classical ballet instruction to students of all ages and levels. We want to introduce everyone to the joy of dance. Learning the art of ballet requires a considerable amount of dedication, time, and practice. Through the nurturing guidance and individual attention of our experienced faculty, dancers from three to adult can enjoy the benefits of ballet in a way that is fun and challenging. Our syllabus is designed to safely develop the student through purposeful training while keeping long-term progress and overall health of each dancer in mind.
Our program is divided into three divisions of study, including Young Dancer, Intermediate, and Advanced Divisions. We also offer an Open Division for teens, adults, and home-schooled children.
Experience the joy of dance. Call us at 785-383-7918 or email [email protected] to take advantage of a free class. No dress code or uniform is required. Comfortable clothing that allows a full range of motion is recommended.

Level I and II classes are carefully designed to ease students into a structured class setting while encouraging imaginative play in a fun atmosphere. Students develop fine and gross motor skills as they learn the concepts of rhythm, coordination, balance, spatial relations, perception, and memory.
Level III is an important bridge between the Young Dancer and Intermediate Division. It introduces fundamental exercises to help students master the body, arm, leg, and head placement needed in classical ballet.
You can also join us at Dance With Me, a fun introduction to movement, music, and dance on Tuesdays at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center.
